For me the Disney Parks live streams have a lot to live up to. These are a reflection of the fun and excitement you can have, have had, or will have when you visit the Disney Parks. However, the live streams have been very disappointing. Their camera angles are terrible, they zoom in and stay on all the wrong things. Its almost like they have never watched the show before and they focus on the minor detail instead of the big picture. Here's an example: In the last broadcast of Fanstasmic! they zoomed in on mickey, as close up as close as they could get... and stayed on that. Meanwhile the fountains are going off and fireworks are flying above his head. To the uninformed viewer it just looks like Mickey is waving his hands around and they miss the action. Instead, zoom in ONCE so we can see that it is Mickey, and then zoom out so we can see the show! We can all follow Walt's advice and 'imagine' what mickey looks like close up. Its more import to see the effect, rather than the neckline of Mickey's outfit.
Sorry, I try to keep my post positive and shy away from negativity... Lets just hope the newest attempt will be better. IllumiNations is a great show set around a circular lagoon with prime viewing all the way around World Showcase. It would be pretty difficult to screw this one up!
