Guests that frequent the Disney parks quickly become aware that there are amazing tours and experiences you can attend in addition to the attractions included with your park addmission. These experiences range from trains, scuba diving, surfing lessons, etc.. The price of these experiences can be a little expensive but they are extremely memorable. I have a saying that it's not about the cost, it's about the experience... but not all backstage tours will cost you an arm and a leg:
Kay Writes:
"I would like to know info for senior citizen traveling alone...re rides, food, how far do you walk from one park to another in Magic kingdom and are there shortcuts to get there..R#R will be closed when I am there in November." For guests getting to the park with their own (or rented) vehicle you will find a pleasant surprise once you park. Disney provides a free tram service to the front of the park! (Or at least to the ticketing center.) Arguably this is the first ride you board when you arrive at a Disney Park and the last ride before you leave. I remember riding the tram as a child (before they had doors) waiting for the U-turn and feeling like we were traveling so fast around the corners! (even though top speed is only 14 mph). The open air design of these vehicles helps contribute to the sense of speed and once you starting moving the breeze is a welcomed relief on a hot day!
Here are a few great tips to parking, and riding the tram: One of the best quick service dining experience Disney has created is at the Be Our Guest Restaurant at The Magic Kingdom. Whether it was in the original concept to offer quick service lunch or not I'm not sure. We were invited to test the quick service option before it was launched to the general public a while back and we have been back several times since. Lunch at Beast's Castle is one of the most unique and advanced dining experience to date!
Remember 3,2,1Many people find the new FastPass+ difficult to understand... And it is. Personally I find it ironic standing in line at the FastPass+ kiosk to reserve my spot in another line. After reading our latest blog below, you should be able to master the FastPass+ system and unveil the infamous 4th FastPass+ selection. Maybe even a 5th or 6th!
When it comes to a parade there is no doubt that the most important thing you can do is pick your spot, and pick your spot early. People start lining the curbs on Main Street U.S.A. hours before the parades start. If you were too busy enjoying the day at the park, or stuck in line waiting for your favorite mountain you might think you are out of luck to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Don't worry! We have you covered.
Here are our top 5 spots you can usually walk up to at the last minute and have a great view of the parade: |
